Designed to help families and students in low-income households, the Internet First program is open to eligible participants who:
Qualifying Assistance Programs
Are a participant in public assistance programs like the National School Lunch Program, housing assistance, Medicaid, SNAP, SSI, and others
Students under federal assisted aid programs can qualify for Internet First by supplying an award letter. Examples include:
• Pell Grants
• Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG)
• Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grants, and
• Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grants
